Kurau is a 12-year-old girl sad that her daddy can`t spend her birthday with her like he promised... Or she is, until on the trip to his laboratory, where he does energy research, where he takes her to make up for it, she is possessed by a Rynax, some sort of being that lives in pairs inside of atoms. After that, thanks to the powers the Rynax has and the minor detail that she`s pretty possessed by the Rynax, she`s not quite the same cheerful, energetic 12-year-old daddy`s girl anymore. In fact, 10 years later, she`s become some sort of agent, tackling difficult missions, infiltrating and counterspying. She`s cynical and seems to find no fun in life, and the only thing she`s passionate about is keeping Kurau`s body safe. She longs to find her pair again, but it is asleep inside of her body...
